Communities like ours deserve good resources that strengthen families and empower women — not an industry that profits from their pain and increases risks of exploitation, including human trafficking, which thrives where abortion access is easily available.
Planned Parenthood has expanded into an already struggling, minority neighborhood in Wichita, KS. Unlike the 40 community health clinics in our city that provide comprehensive, women-focused care, Planned Parenthood offers no prenatal care, cancer screenings, or family support. Instead, abortion is its sole focus—making up 96.9% of its pregnancy services. According to KDHE, more than 78% of abortion seekers in this region come from out of state, showing this expansion is not about serving local women, but about profiting from abortion tourism. Surrounding businesses have been vacated, demonstrating how Planned Parenthood drives out local commerce in our community.

about us
We are a grassroots organization committed to protecting our neighborhoods from the harm caused by Big Abortion. Planned Parenthood is pouring resources into Kansas to grow its profitable abortion tourism industry—while offering little real support to local women. In fact, for every 1 Planned Parenthood, there are already 40 community health centers providing genuine care. Let Wichita’s city council know: our city does not want Planned Parenthood to expand here.
According to Planned Parenthoods own annual report:
total cancer screening and prevention services have dropped by 54%, including declines of 61% for breast exams and 54% for pap tests.
Prenatal services are down 63%.
Contraceptive services are down 38%.
In the 2022-2023 Planned Parenthood Annual Report, 96.9% of the time, women seeking help related to their pregnancy at Planned Parenthood were sold an abortion rather than given prenatal care, provided care for a miscarriage, or helped to make an adoption plan.
Prenatal services, miscarriage care, and adoption referrals accounted for only 1.7% (7,008), 0.9% (3,598), and 0.5% (2,148), respectively.
