Planned Parenthood’s Racist roots
Planned Parenthood has a history of targeting minority communities. Founded by Margaret Sanger, who advocated reducing minority populations, the organization did not publicly disassociate from her until 2021. Today, clinics are disproportionately located in minority neighborhoods, and minority women receive abortions at 5× the rate of white women.
Planned Parenthood is bad for Kansas
In Kansas, over 78% of abortions are performed on out-of-state residents, according to KDHE. Planned Parenthood facilities often displace surrounding businesses, leaving blighted areas.
Planned Parenthood opposes parental notification laws, and abortions on minors in Kansas have increased 46% since 2023. PP profits depend on parents and guardians being kept in the dark. Currently, parental notification laws are judicially being blocked from being enforced.
